Group Workouts and Training Information

Periodically throughout the summer Team Pegasus meets at Little Pond (Morton Park) in Plymouth to swim the perimeter, the half mile course and to practice starts and turns. To access Little Pond follow this link:

Please note: Plymouth residents can get a parking sticker. Non-residents must pay to park between the hours of 9-5.

Starts up in November and runs through February. Once race season starts the Sunday run is less regular, but there is usually a group running out of Uncommon Grounds (St. George Street) every week. Team Pegasus meets at 8:30 am.

In the fall we often run the trails and will meet at the entrance to Duxbury Town Forest on Mayflower Street in Duxbury, and once the snow flies we meet at Uncommon Grounds (usually) to do a group run of between 3 and ???? miles. Email bak5557@aol.com or just show up. All paces welcome.

As Sundays start filling with races, email to find it where and if there is a group run. We are also known to change starting location just for variety, so if you are not a regular, email to find out where we are meeting. All welcome!

Classes have started for Wednesday nights at The Hanover Y and Thursday Nights at the Kingsbury Club.  Start with 1.5 hour class and work up to 3 hours over an 7 week period. Each session builds on the previous session. Open to members and non-members of both the Hanover Y and the Kingsbury Club. Follow the links above to find out about the current session.

The Thursday night Time Trial started up again May 6, 2010 in Duxbury. Come out week after week to improve your strength and speed on the bike on a 20K time trial course. You never know when Mark McCormack or Ironman winners Caitlin Snow, Karen Smyers, Tony DeLogne and Dede Greisbauer will be racing against you.
